The IDEA System
The Tristar Water Solutions IDEA process is a modification and enhancement of the superior technology of the conventional Sequence Batch Reactor (SBR).
IDEA, an acronym for Intermittent Decant Extended Aeration, allows continuous inflow of wastewater to the tank. Influent flow to the IDEA tank is not interrupted during the settle and decant phases or at any time during the operating cycle.
This is a proven process which enhances the standard SBR system, through strategic cost, operating and biological advantages.
The IDEA system is able to handle the peak loadings experienced by accommodation and construction villages. A reliable screening process takes place prior to the IDEA tank removing hazardous materials that generally causes pump blockage or failure.
The system enables a time, not flow-based control system that enables a constant relationship between aeration, settling and decanting.
